Rehabilitation, regaining lost function

Rehabilitation

Rehabilitation, often shortened to rehab, is the process of helping a person regain function after a stroke, surgery or illness. The aim is to get back as much daily ability as possible.

This matters because recovery rarely happens on its own. Guided, steady practice is what turns small gains into real change over time.

Our physiotherapist sets clear goals, works through them step by step, and reviews progress openly. At home, rehabilitation is built around the tasks the person truly needs, so every session connects to daily life. When a goal is met, we agree the next one together.
