About PhysioKedah

We bring physiotherapy into the home for families across mainland Kedah.

What PhysioKedah is

PhysioKedah is a home-visit physiotherapy service for mainland Kedah. We bring treatment to the person’s own home instead of asking them to travel.

We work with stroke survivors, elderly parents, and people recovering from surgery. Many of them find the journey to a clinic the hardest part of the day.

By coming to the home, we make care easier to start and easier to keep going.

Why we come to the home

For a frail or recovering person, the trip to a clinic can bring pain, tiredness or risk. The home removes that barrier.

We assess the person in the same rooms they use every day. The plan then fits the real bed, the real step at the door, and the real bathroom they need to reach.

Familiar surroundings also keep the person calm, which helps them work better.

How we write

Our pages explain conditions, options and what to expect in plain words. We want families to understand a situation before they decide anything.

We describe what usually helps and what does not, honestly. If home care is not the right first step, we say so.

The aim is that you can make a good decision for your family, not that you feel pushed toward us.

Who reviews our clinical content

Our clinical content is reviewed by M. Thurairaj, a physiotherapist with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy and more than fourteen years of experience. He is registered with the Malaysian Allied Health Professions Council, registration MAHPC(PT)06324.

He checks that what we publish is accurate and safe to read. His role is to review the content.

Every physiotherapist who practises in Malaysia must hold this council registration.

How enquiries are handled

Enquiries come to us through WhatsApp. It is the simplest way for a family to describe a situation and get a reply.

You can tell us who the patient is, where in Kedah they are, and what has happened. We will explain what we would suggest.

There is no clinic to visit, because we come to the home.
