How We Compile Information

We work from public sources

Any list or guide we compile is built from public sources. These include official directories, published references, and information the organisations themselves make public.

Where a fact comes from a source, we cite it. A reader can then check it for themselves.

We do not invent figures

We never invent numbers. We do not make up statistics, prices or counts to fill a page.

If a figure is not from a source we can cite, we leave it out. An honest gap is better than a made-up number.

How we explain cost

Cost is a common question, and it is easy to mislead with a single figure. So we explain cost by structure instead.

We describe what tends to affect the cost of care, such as the number of visits and the type of support. We give a fixed number only when a source is cited.

The Kedah rehabilitation resources list

Our compiled resources for Kedah, such as the rehabilitation list, follow the same method. Each entry comes from public information.

We aim to describe options fairly and point readers to where they can learn more. We correct an entry when it changes.
