Our Editorial Policy
How we research, write and review the health information on this site.
How we research
We build our pages from reputable sources. These include physiotherapy and medical references, and guidance from recognised health bodies.
We read the source before we write. We do not copy claims we cannot support.
We write in plain language
Health topics are often explained in words families cannot use. We rewrite them plainly.
We keep sentences short and define terms where needed. The goal is that a caregiver can read a page once and understand it.
A physiotherapist reviews the clinical content
Our clinical content is reviewed by M. Thurairaj, a registered physiotherapist. He checks that what we publish is accurate and safe.
In Malaysia a physiotherapist must be registered with the Malaysian Allied Health Professions Council to practise. Review by a registered professional is how we keep the content trustworthy.
We keep pages current and fix mistakes
Understanding of care changes over time. We update pages when better information becomes available.
If we find an error, or a reader points one out, we correct it. Getting it right matters more than leaving it unchanged.
Our pages are information, not a diagnosis
What you read here is general information. It is not a diagnosis of any person.
A registered physiotherapist or doctor needs to assess the individual before any plan. Every person is different, and a page cannot see the person in front of us.
Talk it through with us
Tell us the situation on WhatsApp and we will explain the next step, and you decide from there.
