Domiciliary physiotherapy, in plain words
Domiciliary physiotherapy
Domiciliary is a formal word for at home. Domiciliary physiotherapy means a registered physiotherapist treats the person in their own house, not in a clinic.
This matters when travel is hard. A stroke survivor or a frail parent can be seen where they sleep, eat and move each day. Care comes to them, so no one has to face a painful journey first.
Working at home, our physiotherapist checks the real rooms the person uses. The plan then fits their bed, their door step and their bathroom. Every session is built around the tasks that matter to daily life.
